Editing product images

Open the image editor on any product image to adjust, regenerate, or replace it.

Open a product, then click the edit icon on any image to launch the Image Editor. From there you can adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, filters, remove or recolor the background, drop in a logo, and run AI generation.

After AI generation: confirm dialog

When AI generation finishes, a confirm dialog gives you three actions:

  • Replace image — swaps the current image with the AI-generated one and pushes the change back to Shopify on Apply changes.
  • Generate new AI image — opens a fresh form asking for a new prompt and (optionally) a new reference image. Costs 30 credits per generation.
  • Add as new — appends the AI-generated image to the product as a brand-new image instead of replacing one. Uploads to Shopify immediately and the new image shows up in the gallery.
